Stock Fundamental Analysis Excel Template

Introduction

The decision to trade a stock is based on a number of factors, including the analysis of fundamental data. Excel Price Feed enables you to analyse live stock data in Excel and this template makes it very easy.

Getting Started

To get started, you need either a valid Excel Price Feed Trial or Subscription (if you have neither then you can start a free 10 day trial by pressing the big yellow button at the top of the page).

To download the template, click on the link below and save a copy on your PC and then open it in Excel:

Using The Template

The template is very easy to use, it contains a bunch of data fields which all reference the stock ticker cell. Type the ticker of the stock you wish to analyse into cell C2 (If you don't know the ticker of the stock you can use the search function on the Configuration Pane):

All formulas on the spreadsheet will then refresh for the new ticker:

As you can see in the image above, the price cell is highlighted (cell E2) and the formula can be seen in the formula bar (which references cell C2 which contains the stock ticker):

Unlike some other Add-in products, the formulas provided by Excel Price Feed are standard Excel formulas which you can copy/paste as usual and combine with other cells/formulas.

The great benefit of having this data in Excel is you can now have live financial data in Excel which you can combine with your own formulas to build a powerful stock analysis spreadsheet.

Data Refresh

Any time you wish to update the data from Yahoo Finance, simply press the "Refresh Sheet" button on the Excel Price Feed toolbar:

Alternatively, you can use the Auto Refresh options to trigger a refresh from Yahoo Finance every 1 or 5 minutes.
